The fabulous Julia Carpenter (UNC-TV reporter) spent several days in Charlotte in early November profiling Blumenthal Performing Arts.  Her report does a great job of defining our organization as a whole, from our producing efforts to our six theaters to our presenting over 1,000 performances to our mission statement.  If you’ve ever wondered just how large of an organization Blumenthal Performing Arts is, then you won’t want to miss this piece.  CLICK HERE to watch the video. Our part starts at about the 1:30 mark.

For over 15 years Jim Brickman has given us the soundtrack of life, playing beautiful piano arrangements about love, pain and everyday adventures.  This holiday season, the two-time Grammy-nominated, platinum selling artist is creating a musical celebration for audiences seeking an escape from the hectic demands of the holiday season! In a spectacular concert, Brickman and his very special guests present an evening of dazzling solo piano and vibrant vocals, plus plenty of warmth and humor. Brickman weaves together new and old traditional holiday favorites, plus all his hits!  Don’t miss Jim Brickman’s A Christmas Celebration on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m., in the Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts.

Charlotte Magazine‘s Page Leggett recently interviewed “America’s Romantic Piano Sensation” for her blog, RevueCLICK HERE to read her interview.
