I would like to thank each and every one of you for making this blog such a tremendous success.  I have enjoyed sharing behind-the-scenes secrets, finding you great deals for tickets to our shows, giving away fabulous prizes, choosing the many Tuesday Tunes and Wordless Wednesdays and seeing the many thoughtful comments you’ve shared!  In total, there have been 116 posts.  WOW!

As 2011 comes to a close, I thought it would be fun to look back at the most popular posts since our launch in August!  It’s a time to relive some of your favorite moments of the past year.  So, grab a glass of champagne and lets toast to a fantastic end of the year!

10 – Volunteer! The Show Can’t Go On Without You (Posted on Dec. 15) Our administrative office saw a spike in volunteer applications after this post went out.  THANK YOU!

9 – Looking Ahead: THE ADDAMS FAMILY Kicks Off the 2011-12 Duke Energy Broadway Lights Series (Posted on Oct. 10) It seems like so long ago that our 2011-12 season was launched.  And we’re busy planning for the 2012-13 season.  What shows would you like to see come through Charlotte in the next few years?

6 – Behind-the-Scenes: PRESS day with THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Posted on Oct. 13) – This was my first forray into taking my blog readers into a day-in-the-life of an actor.  I’m glad you all enjoyed learning about the importance of coffee and just how hard the stars work in promoting their shows!!

5 – Chow Down Uptown and Then See A Free Movie! *snap, snap!* (Posted on Aug. 14) Da da da dum, snap snap, da da da dum, snap snap.  Over 100 people came to the McGlohon Theater to watch a free screening of “The Addams Family.”

4 – The Cast of WEST SIDE STORY Dishes on Scary Movies, Touring, Coffee and More! (Posted on Nov. 3) Who would have thought that Evy Ortiz, the adorable actress that played ‘Maria,’ would love the SAW movies?!  This was my personal favorite post that I wrote.  The entire cast was an absolute delight to work with, and I loved getting to know them better.  I will do more posts like this in 2012 seeing how popular this one was!

3 – Ira Glass 101: A Storyteller For a New Generation (Posted on Aug. 17) Ira Glass is truly one-of-a-kind.  He’s such a gifted storyteller.  I’m glad you liked getting to know him a little better through this post.

(Posted on Dec. 23) I personally cannot get enough of the festive video the touring cast of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST put together to the song “Christmas Vacation.”  Here it is again for your viewing pleasure…

    Thanks to Linda and all the others that got me in to see Cody Slaughter perform in Million Dollar Quartet. It truly was a remarkable show, and I appreciate all your efforts to make sure I saw the show with Cody in it. Thank you!
