Looking Ahead: B.B. King @ Knight Theater and FREE screening of ‘The Blues Brothers’!

Luckily, Blumenthal Performing Arts this week features the best of blues on stage and on the big screen this week.  Grab a blanket, a hot cup of tea and read on to see the bluesy offerings we have!

The King of Blues returns to Charlotte THIS WEEK! He’ll do two performances at  Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts.  Catch the legendary B.B. King with special guest Damon Fowler on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 12-13.  His guitarmanship has been a model for thousands of players, from Eric Clapton and George Harrison to Jeff Beck.  Tickets are selling fast, so don’t wait until the last minute.  For ticket information, CLICK HERE.

  • The Blues Brothers Movie NightEnjoy a FREE Movie Screening of a Cult Classic!

Jake and Elwood will take the stage this February performing hit music from their cult classic film The Blues Brothers. In celebration of The Original Tribute to the Blues Brothers coming to the Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts Feb. 11 & 12, join us for a FREE screening of The Blues Brothers movie at McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square at 7PM on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
