Tuesday Tune: “Strong Enough To Be Your Man” by Travis Tritt

January 17, 2012

Travis TrittToday’s Tuesday Tune celebrates Travis Tritt, the two-time Grammy Award® winner singer/songwriter who has sold 25 million albums and performed all around the world!

Travis Tritt: A Very Special Solo Acoustic Performance with Special Guest Aaron Parker is Friday, Jan. 20, at Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts.

On Travis Tritt‘s musical influences:  “Growing up just outside Atlanta, to the north of us you’ve got the Grand Ol’ Opry in Nashville,” Tritt explains. “A little bit South you’ve got Macon, Georgia — home of the Allman Brothers, the Marshall Tucker Band and Capricorn Records. And off to west you’ve got Delta blues. Sprinkle Southern gospel over the top of that, and you’re talking about where I came from. I loved all of that music.”

Don’t miss your chance to catch one of the finest voices in country music today. For more information on the show, CLICK HERE.

To get you excited about the show, I present “Strong Enough To Be Your Man.”
