Many consider Patinkin’s performance as Ché, in Evita, one of his best performances to date.  To celebrate Mandy Patinkin: Dress Casual coming to Belk Theater on Sunday, Oct. 28, we’re listening to his performance of “Requiem for Evita/Oh, What a Circus” from the 1979 recording of Evita.

In the song, Ché (Mandy Patinkin), the narrator, cynically assesses the hysterical grief that consumed Argentina when Evita died.
