Wednesday Wow: Mandy Patinkin Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of “The Princess Bride”

On Oct. 2, Mandy Patinkin joined fellow cast members from The Princess Bride for a special 25th anniversary viewing of the film during the New York Film Festival.  Patinkin starred as Inigo Montoya, the great swordsman, who spoke the very famous line: “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

Now, the acclaimed actor, who stars in the hit Showtime series “Homeland,” will return to the stage for one night only on Sunday, Oct. 28 in Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center where he will present his one-man show: Dress Casual.

Mandy Patinkin is one of the most versatile and compelling actors, singers, and storytellers of our time. Warm, passionate, and funny, this Tony® and Emmy Award®-winning performer has originated Broadway roles in Evita and Sunday in the Park with George.  He previously starred in the critically acclaimed CBS series “Chicago Hope” and “Criminal Minds.”
