Looking Ahead: Chris Isaak Brings Holiday Cheer Next Monday

Isaak on Monday, Dec. 16, in Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts!
Chris Isaak ruled the charts in the 1980s and ’90s with sultry hits like “Wicked Game,” “Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing” and “Somebody’s Crying.” In the course of his career, he has released 16 studio albums, been nominated for two Grammy awards, appeared in a number of films, and starred in his own critically acclaimed TV series. Join him for an evening of his greatest hits and traditional holiday favorites when he is in Charlotte on Dec. 16.
In 2004, Isaak release a Christmas album that resonated with fans everywhere. “I was inspired to write the song ‘Washington Square’ by the trips I took to Iraq and Afghanistan to entertain the troops. I thought about how the men and women are so far from home. There’s nothing lonelier than missing someone at Christmas when you’re far away and not safe,” he said.
