Some say it’s a show featuring theater’s most beautiful songs. Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award-winning musical Evita is back with those same passionate songs that made people fall in love with it in the first place.

Evita tells the unforgettable true story of Eva Perón’s life and how she used her beauty and charisma to rise meteorically from the slums of Argentina to the presidential mansion as first lady. Adored by her people as a champion for the poor, she became one of the most powerful women in the world — while her greed, outsized ambition and fragile health made her one of the most tragic.

There are the songs we all know, like “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” and “High Flying, Adored,” but if you haven’t seen the show yet, you probably don’t know that it’s an overall musical sensation, packed with amazing melodies.

Joe Dziemianowicz with Daily News writes, “One can’t help but LEAN IN, DESPERATE FOR MORE.” If you ask me, the music in this show has a lot to do with that, and it’s exactly how I feel when I hear the track below. Enjoy!
