Looking Ahead: The Mountaintop Opens Tuesday

Taking place on April 3, 1968, The Mountaintop imagines the night before the assassination of civil rights leader The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. in a gripping series of events. After delivering one of his most memorable speeches, an exhausted King retires to his room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tenn., while a storm rages outside. When a mysterious young woman named Camae delivers room service, King is forced to confront his destiny and his legacy to his people.
