What’s Cooking? The Bacon Brothers Are!
Here at the Blumenthal, we like to start off this week with some bacon! By bacon, I mean The Bacon Brothers are coming to Queen City’s own McGlohon Theater stage at 7:30 tonight for one night only, folks. This brotherly duo has won over believers worldwide with their rock and “soul” live shows that encompass their love of music and their passion.
They even have The New Yorker raving about them, claiming that “Hollywood hangs like an albatross around the neck of any movie star turned musician, but this duo shakes off the burden of fame with sharply executed rock that has a blue-collar, rootsy edge.” When these two get together, audiences instantly feel engaged by their soulful lyrics and the fast connection to their fans. The Bacon Brothers have made seven albums and play to full houses nearly everywhere they’ve performed. With energy, entertainment and a broad range of talent, this dynamic team and their band give audiences a bang for their buck with every show. And what better place to show their connection to their audience and amazing music than in the intimate McGlohon Theater? With its stained glass windows and Byzantine dome, this historically designated space will make The Bacon Brothers a night you won’t want to miss.
