Ian Anderson celebrated 46 years as a recording and performing musician this year and has no intentions of hanging up his flute or guitar anytime soon. Anderson rose to fame as a founding member of British rock group Jethro Tull in the late 1960s and is considered the pioneer of flute in rock music. In addition to the 30 albums he released with Jethro Tull, Anderson has also released 6 studio albums as a solo artist. Anderson will perform songs from hist most recent solo release, “Homo Erraticus,” in addition to an hour of favorites from the Jethro Tull catalogue live in Knight Theater Friday, Oct. 3.
