Looking Ahead: Don’t Miss Love, Loss, and What I Wore Playing This Week Only!
Aside from a little snow (the only fun part), I’ve had about enough of Old Man Winter and his rain, ice and cold temperatures here in Charlotte. For most of us, there just isn’t much to look forward to over the next few weeks until spring finally arrives. But that’s where Blumenthal comes in to save the day. There’s always something exciting going on around here, even in the dead of winter.
This week, Love, Loss, and What I Wore returns to Charlotte for one week only! The international hit will have you laughing, crying and reminiscing all while being entertained by five amazing women, some of whom you just might recognize. (Jan Brady anyone?)
Proving that a great show is always in fashion, Love, Loss, and What I Wore has become a hit around the world. With its compulsively entertaining subject matter, this intimate collection of stories by Nora and Delia Ephron celebrated an accomplished 2.5 year run in New York’s Westside Theatre. Love, Loss, and What I Wore is based on the best-seller by Ilene Beckerman as well as the recollections of the Ephrons’ friends. The show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to, creating one of the most enduring theater-going experiences domestically and overseas.
Scheduled to appear in the Charlotte production are Concetta Tomei, Eve Plumb, Daisy Eagan, Aisha De Haas and Ashley Austin Morris.
