Keep Up With Breakin’ Convention CLT News, Updates

September 23, 2015

Breakin’ Convention CLT is almost here, and there’s more news – from events to performers – to share almost every day. Social media and our blog is a key way to get the latest news to you quickly.

Breakin’ Convention, an international festival of hip-hop dance theatre, is Oct. 9-10 at Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts. The two-day event features evening showcases of the top international, national and local dancers, crews and companies, which take place in Knight Theater.

Street Jam, a free, family-friendly festival, is Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Spirit Square. Experts will lead workshops on the fundamentals of hip-hop including break dancing, and there will be graffiti artists, emcees and disc jockeys. The day also includes a fashion show and a healthy eating workshop for families.

Be sure to come out early and take advantage of all that’s going on.
