Wynton_MarsalisREASON NO. 1:

Charlotte Jazz Festival will feature two main stage performances by the critically-acclaimed Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra under the leadership of musical director Wynton Marsalis. (Yeah, it doesn’t get much better than that.)

Festivalgoers can catch intimate club performances featuring local and national talent throughout the weekend, as well as a jazz dinner and happy hours. (These events will bring you to multiple venues with amazing views in our beautiful city. Photo op anyone?)

There will be a traditional second line parade that we hope everyone will jump in on! (FACT – this will be fun. More details to come.)

The theme for most of the festival events is food, and who doesn’t love food? (Follow the link below and see what I mean.)

Levine Center for the Arts will be buzzing with life that weekend, and you don’t want to be sitting at home on your couch, missing all the energy!
